Cherry Bomb is a rare Pink Bourbon light roast coffee from Huila, Colombia, featuring tasting notes of cherry wine, boozy sweetness, and dried florals with a bright, clean finish.
Produced by Luis, a Huila Best Cup 2016 Top 30 finalist, this small-lot Colombian coffee is the result of meticulous family-run farming, where only fully ripe cherries are harvested, dry fermented for 25 hours, and slowly dried in a parabolic dryer for approximately 25 days to enhance sweetness and clarity. Pink Bourbon, a rare hybrid of Red and Yellow Bourbon, is notoriously difficult to grow and stabilize, making coffees like this increasingly scarce. Cherry Bomb performs exceptionally well as both drip coffee and espresso, making it an ideal choice for fans of light roast, fruit-forward specialty coffee.
